Payments and Cancellations
Payments made online will be billed directly in US dollars. This avoids the dollar amount being converted into pesos at the buying rate of the bank on that day (and then converted back to dollars by your bank on your statement).
Credit card will be charged for the total amount shown at the time of booking. Please note that your billing statement will show: Manta Divers.
Credit cards accepted:
We accept American Express Cards, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. By making a reservation online, you acknowledge that you have been advised of the tour cost, and you are agreeing to pay that amount.
IVA is a sales tax that is applied to all transactions in Mexico. Our prices include the 10% IVA tax.
MARINE PARK ACCESS FEES:
All diving in the Cancun and Cozumel is within the National Marine Park. There is a $2.00 per person (US dollars) entrance fee that must be paid for each trip to the reef (for both diving and snorkeling). This fee includes trips to Cozumel; however, it is not required for CENOTES.
All schedule change requests are subject to availability and applicable rates. To modify or cancel a reservation, you must contact us by e-mail or telephone.
ALL RESERVATIONS CANCELLED ARE SUBJECT TO PENALTIES AS FOLLOWS:
After payment has been processed, reservations are subject to a minimum ten 10% administrative fee based upon the total amount of the reservation.
Cancellations 15 days prior to arrival will be refunded all except the "Administrative Fee" of 10%.
Cancellations 7 to 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the reservation total.
Cancellations more than 24 hours to 7 Days will be issued a credit for future services and have no expiration.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and/or NO SHOWS will NOT BE issued a refund or given credits.
Poor water conditions, seasickness, or any other reason resulting in personal forfeit of any dive will result in no refund from Manta Divers.
We recommend taking an over the counter motion sickness medicine up to eight hours before diving.
Although Manta Divers cannot be held responsible for bad weather and we make every attempt to reschedule divers in the event of the port closing. If a diver chooses not to go out and the tour was not canceled--that constitutes a NO SHOW, and will result in a refund NOT being issued.
CREDITS AND REFUNDS:
In the event that a credit or refund is due, Manta Divers will make every effort to process that transaction in a timely manner. Credits can be made only to the credit card that was used in the transaction.
Credits issued to a card can take up to 2 billing cycles to appear
